Connecting Condos portal to
the Liberte
With internal and external
lines that represent the free flowing spirit of its name, the Liberte
encourages its residents to interact with the surrounding environment.
Curved balconies offer full
180-degree views of Calgary’s electric downtown or the serenity of the Bow River parkway and the Rocky Mountains while easy-access elevators provide speedy escape for
those who wish to take advantage of the many recreational amenities in the
area.
This 15-storey, concrete
building was built in 1989 by Vancouver’s Bosa Development Corporation, which
is known for creating landmarks. With a social room which is equipped
with a kitchen, a large exercise room with equipment, and a tennis court,
residents do not have to leave their home in order to enjoy a social
activity. But, if a quiet stroll or bike ride is more their
recreational style, then they only have a short walk of two blocks before
connecting with the heart of Calgary’s bike paths where they can explore the
nearby trendy shops of the Kensington district or the high energy of Prince’s
Island’s cultural and music events.
